More Sibe Chiffs

I spent far too much of today trying to photograph the Siberian Chiffchaff around the obs. I couldnt quite get the perfect shot, but these give a good impression of the bird.

It's starting to look a bit less scruffy than it did a few weeks ago.

The buffy ear coverts show well in most of these shots

Highlight of the day though, was a male Ring Ouzel that showed for a few seconds this morning from my kitchen window while I was washing up after breakfast. A quality garden tick and the first one on Portland this year.
Otherwise, masses of Willow Warblers around the bill first thing this morning, and a good arrival og Wheatears mid-morning.
