I returned to Blakeney Point this evening after a trip away to Sweden (more on that story later). Shortly after getting back I heard tell of a juvenile Red-backed Shrike in the dunes so hurried over for a look-see before it went to roost after a good fill of bombus sp. The rest of the day was spent tearing around seeing what else was about before it got dark, the best being single Pied Flycatcher and Redstart and half a dozen Whinchats.
